Copyright and image sources
All images, graphics, and videos used on this website/in this publication are subject to German copyright law (UrhG).
- Own images: Unless otherwise stated, the rights to all images are held by NGIY™ Verein zur Förderung des deutschen Radsports e.V. (Association for the Promotion of German Cycling).
- Third-party material: Images, graphics, or videos from third parties are identified as such and accompanied by a source reference.
- Royalty-free or Creative Commons images: When royalty-free or Creative Commons images are used, this is done in accordance with the respective license terms (e.g., attribution, no commercial use, no editing). The specific license information is provided with the respective images.
Any reproduction, distribution, editing, or other use of the content provided outside the legal limits (§§ 44a ff. UrhG) is only permitted with the express written consent of the copyright holder.
Granting of rights of use
By submitting photos, texts, or videos (e.g., by association members, contributors, or third parties), the submitter confirms that
- that he has the necessary copyrights and personal rights,
- and the Association for the Promotion of German Cycling (Verein zur Förderung des deutschen Radsports e.V.) a simple, unlimited right of use in terms of time and space for publication on all of the association's own media (website, social media, print, etc.).
The right of use includes, in particular, making the content publicly available (Section 19a UrhG) and reproducing it (Section 16 UrhG) within the scope of the association's work.
Personal rights of persons depicted
The publication of images in which persons are recognizable shall only take place with their consent in accordance with Section 22 of the German Art Copyright Act (KunstUrhG). Exceptions apply in accordance with Section 23 KunstUrhG, e.g. in the case of:
- Images from the field of contemporary history,
- Pictures of public events,
- Images in which the persons appear only as accessories to a landscape or other location.
Affected persons may object to further publication at any time; the image will then be removed immediately.
